Prem Fest is an annual dance event held by Prem, where dance groups from international schools in Chiang Mai come to showcase their dances on the stage. Over the years, it has provided many opportunities for students who love dancing to express themselves.
This year was a little bit different. The modern dance ASA group only received the information about Prem Fest three weeks before the performance. In this short time, a great leader guided the team through the entire process, creating the choreography, producing the music, teaching them dances, designing dance formations and so on.
The full choreography was only completed in the final week before the show. Under great pressure, the dancers still completed the performance successfully. After this hard task, the practicing and performance became a memorable experience for NIS dancers.
However, there is one person who experienced Prem Fest in a very special way. Ten years ago, he stood on the Prem Fest stage as a student, this year, he returned to that stage as a teacher, guiding the dancers and passing on his love for dance to his students.
