The NIS High School Student Council 2025–2026, Catalyst, has officially announced a Clash Royale 2v2 Tournament for all high school students. This tournament will take place on Tuesday, December 16, at NIS Harmony Theater. High school students can join with two people as a team, where only one of the teammates needs to complete the sign-up form.
Event Details:
Date: Tuesday, December 16
Time: 3:05 pm – 4:35 pm
Location: Harmony Theater
Format: 2v2 matches (single elimination up to Semi-Finals)
Team Requirement: Form a team with a friend; only one teammate needs to register
The event aims to encourage teamwork, student engagement, and a fun competitive spirit. Through this, the student council, Catalyst, believes that such activities will bring students closer and connected to the school.
“I found that the past few years of school life have been quite boring. Students should participate in some activities to make their lives become interesting. I hope this e-sports tournament can inspire everyone’s energy.” said Fight, the student council President.
Clash Royale is a real-time multiplayer online game, in which players normally play individually or fight as teams. The game is operated by Supercell (video game company) that includes elements of card games, tower defense, and MOBAs, where players collect cards, build decks, and battle opponents in short, fast-paced matches to destroy opponent’s towers. The goal of the game is to claim victory, earning trophies and unlocking new cards in the process. Because those matches are short and easy to learn, Clash Royale is considered a good game for school tournaments.
