On November 18th, 2025, At the Shangri-La hotel, the biggest university fair hosted by Prem International School showcased many famous universities all over the world. PREM international school invited NIS for a precious chance of getting in touch with the desired universities and obtain valuable information.
This university fair included universities from Europe, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand presenting a wide variety of schools that the students can consider as the next steps in their future plans.
As a result of this big event, all of the Chiang Mai area international school’s students came to the fair. The NIS media studies team interviewed many students from different international schools. They mainly talked about their study-abroad plans, intended majors, and current academic challenges.
Frank, an AP student from Chiang Mai International School, hopes to study computer science in Hong Kong or Singapore. “I’m most worried about the SAT. My English isn’t strong enough yet, so I’m working hard to improve it,” he said.
Benjamin and Jimmy, A-Level students from SBS, shared that math and physics are their toughest subjects. “We’re practicing and reviewing to steadily raise our grades,” they noted.
Andrew, an IB student from American Pacific International School, said his biggest concern is application timing. “Engineering is my goal, but university deadlines are strict. If you miss one, you may have to wait until the next academic year,” he explained.
At the end of the event, all of the students from NIS get a plentiful load of information about their favorite universities, and hope the best that they can successfully apply to their desired destinations.
