Season Opener November 13: NIS at Grace International School
In the beginning of the game GIS dominated the court by making a taking a huge lead. But the Stallions kept pushing themselves to find the way to openings and building connections on the court. The team’s standout moment came from captain “Lola”, who scored when our momentum was down and gave a brief sense of hope on the bench. Jaja contributed with effort and confidence, scoring one of the team’s key baskets and helping maintain energy during the game.
However, the missing shots and limited positional understanding made it hard for the team. As the season just started these challenges are also opportunities for growth. The final score was 48–6.

Second Game November 17: NIS at Chiang Mai Internationals School
The game against CMIS had a similar pattern: the home team, which is CMIS, got ahead quickly. The Stallions found better rhythm in the second half, showing improvement movement, confidence, and more active defense. A standout moment came when Jaja calmly scored two consecutive free throws, lifting our team’s spirits and giving us a wave of encouragement on the bench. During the game everyone did really amazing but once again Lola and Jaja led the scoring, stepping up as the team. The game concluded at 30 – 10.

Team Reflections
According to both games, the Stallions struggled with missing shots and unfamiliarity with their position, but these are really understandable challenges early in the season. With more practice, clearer positional roles, and communication these areas will naturally improve rapidly. Some players expressed confusion and frustration about their positions. This is part of the growing process, Coach Nick will refine the better rules as the season continues.
The team is united and positive with players agreeing that “we’re still learning our positions, and it’s confusing sometimes,” but at the same time “we’re improving. We just need more practice and communication.” This shows how players frustration leads to strong determination growing within the team. The important thing for the Stallion community to is that they started nervous, but never stopped trying. Even with tough scores, they supported each other and finished every game smiling. Which shows how much stronger they’re becoming.
