On February 27–28, Grade 11 students participated in a two-day field trip in Chiang Dao that combined community service, travel, and relaxation. The trip’s main goal was to give students a chance to experience life outside school while also contributing to the local community.
The journey began at 8:00 AM when students stayed at the Multipurpose Building before departing from school at 8:30 AM. During the trip, the group made a short 15-minute stop at a PTT station that had 7-11 and KFC for students before continuing their trip.
After lunch and a group meeting, students arrived at Baan Meung Na School for the CSR (Community Service Responsibility) activity, where they stayed for around two and a half hours. During this time, students interacted with the school community and participated in activities designed to support the local school.
After the CSR activity, the group departed at 3:00 PM and arrived at Marisa Resort at around 4:00 PM. The evening schedule was relaxed, allowing students to enjoy free time. Many students explored the resort, played games, and rode the free-use bicycles available around the area. Dinner was served at 6:00 PM, taking place at a local Thai Shabu Buffet and students returned to their rooms before the 10:00 PM bedtime.
The second day began with a 7:30 AM wake-up, followed by breakfast at 8:00 AM. Students then departed the resort at 8:40 AM and visited Bhagava Cafe & Cuisine, having some special drinks and cakes at 9:00 AM, before beginning the trip back to school. The group finally arrived back at the school at 11:40 AM, marking the end of the trip.
Many students felt the field trip was a positive experience that allowed them to relax and spend time together outside the classroom.
Overall, the trip provided students with an opportunity to balance community service, travel, and relaxing while strengthening connections with their friends. They had a great time outside the classroom, enjoying nature. The trip created fun memories and helped students feel closer to each other.
