Alex Washington G11 talked with speakers, judges, and organizers to capture their feelings and perspectives on the STEM Talk 2026 event.
As participants, many speakers shared about their experiences when they were on the stage, sharing insights into their emotions and challenges they faced. Some also mentioned that the total time limit should be extended in a reasonable range to allow speakers to better express their minds.
Judges mentioned that the event ran smoothly which allowed them to focus closely on the comparison of the speakers’ scripts and word choices to see whether they matched the intended message.
In addition, the main teacher organizers, who commented on the development of the event expressed that the overall quality of the event had been improved. The participation of new speakers also brought fresh perspectives, making this year different from the last year. They also further noted that they hope the STEM Talk event will continue to improve in the coming years.
