Winter Learning Comes Alive at NIS Winter School 2026
Nakorpayap International School will present its Winter School program with a one-month-long winter school operating between January 26, 2026, and February 27, 2026. Any child between 6-12 is welcome to participate.
This year, non-NIS students have the opportunity to attend a school that offers flexibility, allowing families to participate in only the weeks that best suit them. Each week has a different set of themes with various goals of encouraging learning, working together as a team, and learning in real-world situations. Themes vary from teamwork, adventures, STEM challenges, cultural exploration, to creative arts.
NIS emphasizes that the NIS Winter School is a play-based, activity-driven program conducted entirely in English. Students will also enjoy sports, arts and crafts, computer lessons, and a weekly full-day field trip. The school highlights that this program helps students build confidence, make new friends, and discover more about Chiang Mai’s culture.
15,000 THB weekly includes daily snacks, lunch, field trips, and accident insurance. Space will be limited to 10-15 students per class to help create a supportive and more closely supervised learning environment for all students. Students and their parents will receive a full orientation on all classroom information, all teaching staff, and all school-wide events before the start of the program.
“NIS Winter School is a separate program that will not affect regular classes,” said Mr. Paul, emphasizing that the program is designed to complement, rather than disrupt, the academic year.
The combination of these components provides students with an opportunity to enhance themselves through academics, culture, creativity, and outdoor adventures; NIS Winter School 2026 will be an experience that will engage and enrich students during their winter break.
