On December 6, 2025, the SAT was held at NIS. NIS is a registered SAT test center (71141), and not only NIS students but also students from other schools come to NIS to take the exam.
The SAT took place in the C Building. The test started at around 8:00 a.m. and ended at approximately 11:30 a.m. Students arrived early in the morning and prepared for the exam.
Ian, an 11th grader, shared that this was his fifth time taking the SAT, so he said he did not feel very nervous or emotional about it. When asked which section was the most difficult, Miffy mentioned that English Module 1 was the hardest part for her. Matang also explained that she prepared for the exam by doing many SAT practice tests on Bluebook and studying vocabulary a lot.
Crystal, a 12th grader, gave advice to students who are preparing for future SAT exams. She said, “Study on Bluebook, do a lot of practice tests, and make sure you manage your time well.”

Ms. Sandy, one of the test proctors, said that although students looked stressed before the exam, they seemed very focused and serious while taking the test. Mr. Jack also shared advice for future SAT test-takers. He emphasized that the SAT tests how strong students are in vocabulary, so students should study vocabulary carefully and consistently, especially by doing his vocabulary tracker from class.
