Catalyst STUCO added extra sweetness to campus life last Friday with their Boba Milk Tea Fundraiser, drawing a long line of hungry high-schoolers the moment lunch break began. Held on November 28, 2025 in the Dining Hall, the event featured three refreshing flavors—Taiwanese Milk Tea, Thai Tea, and Green Tea—all sold at an affordable 50 baht.
The student-run initiative aimed to raise funds for upcoming Catalyst activities while bringing the community together through something everyone loves: boba. Within minutes of the sale opening, clusters of students gathered around the table, chatting, deciding what to drink, and excitedly waiting for their drink.
The fundraiser didn’t just sell drinks—it created a moment. A familiar bustle filled the Dining Hall as students balanced lunch trays with plastic-sealed cups, comparing flavors and recommending their favorites to friends.
Jei (Grade 12) gave positive feedback on this initiative stating, “it’s a really creative idea to earn a budget and also a good way to communicate with the students.” Coco (Grade 11) commented on the quality and preparation, “I thought it was very nice. They had proper tools and did a great job in showing that their product should be trusted. It was worth it”
Events like this show how small student-led initiatives can brighten the school day while supporting meaningful causes. With the success of this sale, Catalyst hopes to host more accessible and community-building fundraisers throughout the year, taking student feedback for future planning.
