On Monday, 24th November 2025, at Grandma’s cooking school & Changthong heritage park, Chiang Mai, G12 students have a field trip. Many students said that this was a pleasant and very meaningful experience. Meanwhile, this field trip enabled them to learn some new knowledge and skills. Now let’s take a look at their reflections!
Hara from G12 told us, “this Year 12 cooking field trip was really fun. Learning to make Thai food with my friends felt new and exciting. What impressed me the most was exploring the garden under the sun, wearing our hats, discovering the scents and textures of different ingredients, and sharing our findings with each other. It made me feel relaxed and connected to nature, and it also brought everyone closer together.”
Different people always focus on different things. For example, Vicky said “I think it was a really interesting journey. We got to experience cooking Thai food, and all the ingredients were already prepared and clean, so we didn’t have to wash our hands as often as we would when cooking by ourselves.”
At the same time, some students were unable to join the activity due to personal matters or health issues. Fiona, for example, said that after hearing everyone’s positive feedback, she felt envious of those who were able to participate. She also felt regretful and disappointed that she couldn’t be there, and said that if there is this kind of group activity next time, she will definitely make sure to join.
