The U-20 Boys get their first victory of the season after a previous loss to Grace. Increasing their season record to 1 win, 1 loss. The game started off pretty rough; the Stallions started off in a 2-3 zone, in which Varee easily took advantage of with their excellent 3-point scoring. The Stallions were down almost 15 points after the first quarter. Coach Carlos quickly came up with a counter play and made the Stallions switch to man-to-man defence. With this new strategy in play, the boys were able to hold down Varee’s scoring for the rest of the game. Eventually, our personal defense was stronger than the opponents and we broke away with the win, 61-48.
