On November 13th, 2025, professional photographer Mr. Nuth came to NIS as a special guest to teach the media studies team about the history of photography and camera equipment.
Mr. Nuth brought many different kinds of cameras, old pictures and rolled films. He taught about the evolution of cameras with many stories of his experiences. And he let the media studies team touch these cameras, getting the chance to take a journey through history.
At the end of the presentation, Mr.Nuth separated the media studies team into four different groups, and handed out a small camera to the group called “Quick snap” to give the media studies team an experience of taking images with 2oth Century technology.

At the end of the class, a student in the media studies team interviewed Mr.Nuth about some tips and ideas about future journalism and photography skills. He gave many important tips for the future of Journalism at NIS.

This kind of creative teaching in photography and journalism is truly precious for journalists in the media studies team, and has been a great opportunity and memorable experience for the students.
