The U20 Girls football team faced CMIS in one of their most important matches of the season. Although the game ended in a 2:0 loss, this defeat felt heavier than the score.
For the seniors, the loss was not just another game. It meant the end of their chance, no CMAC qualification, no final stage. The team gave everything they had, but luck wasn’t on our side.
Throughout the match, NIS showed teamwork and heart. But CMIS scored one goal during the first half, and NIS tried to make a comeback in the second half but maybe it was too much for them. Keeping the momentum, CMIS scored again. When the final whistle blew, the silence filled the field until tears broke into. This was a team that dreamed of stepping onto the CMAC. For the seniors, it was their final chance and that’s why it hurt more.
Ploy, our captain, played through an ankle injury, she fought until the end.

As the season closes, one thing remains clear which is “This loss will not define them but the passion they showed will be remembered.”
