On October 29th, the Stallions U16 Boys Football Team charged onto the Prem Tinsulanonda International School football field to compete in the CMAC tournament. The event marked the culmination of two months of hard training, teamwork, and dedication. Every player aimed to showcase their growth, collaboration, and the Stallion spirit. For the team, this was not just about goals, more importantly, it was about showing their commitment and unity on the field.
Even though the tournament did not end well, through three “fights” with Unity Concord International School, The Christian German School of Chiang Mai, and Lanna International School, our players truly showcased their Stallion Spirit. All players tried their best, telling us that “they are growing during the match and ready for the future”. 4-0, 1-0, 4-0, the results may not have favored NIS, but the effort spoke louder than numbers. Each game became a valuable learning experience, building both confidence and resilience for future competitions. The Stallion’s dedication reminds everyone that victory is not only measured by scores, but by the spirit shown in every second during the match.

Despite the challenging outcomes, the Stallions’ determination was undeniable throughout the tournament. Every single game challenged their endurance, teamwork, and mindset, but all players continued to play their hearts out until the last whistle. After the tournament, many players also reflected on their personal experience, expressing both the struggles they faced and the personal growth they achieved.
“I think those games were very hard; everyone did their best,” said one of our Streakers, Stephen from Grade 9. “All of our teammates and coaches could see our efforts and how we fought on the fields. Next year, we need to improve our personal skills and focus more on teamwork.”

Another Streaker, Owen from Grade 9, also shared a similar perspective but emphasized challenges faced by the team.
“I think the game that day wasn’t very good. First, we didn’t score a single goal, and the pitch conditions were terrible; the grass was almost entirely hard dirt, making it difficult for our cleats to grip the ground. Second, everyone was exhausted, and most of the players were injured, which I think is a real shame.”
Even under these difficult conditions, the Stallions showed resilience and unity, qualities that define NIS athletes and true Stallion Spirit. While this year CMAC may not have ended in victory, the experience has strengthened the team’s resolve to train harder, play smarter, and return next season stronger than ever.
Good job, Stallions!!!
