I had the great pleasure of visiting the Northwest Territories and the city of Yellowknife over this year’s Songkran break and had a surrealistic experience I myself cannot even place into adequate words. To say the least, it is unlike anywhere else in the world from a first-hand experience, as the area itself is relatively remote yet still blends in a mixture of liveliness through a complex array of mixed culture and communities from the First Nations, explorers, and even settlers as far back as the Klondike Gold Rush. I’m proud to present this neat and simple to follow map drawn out by my partner, Taya, where together we have laid out a simple and fun visual guide in navigating the city of Yellowknife.
