After a pause of field trips for a whole year, grade 11 students are setting off for an overnight field trip for the first time since the last one happened when they were still grade 9 students. This overnight experience is meaningful because it is not only a special event but also a good opportunity for them to explore nature, release their mind and practice their collaboration skills.
This year the main organizers – Ms. Immz, Ms. Meena, and Ms. Benny are trying to give students a better environment for them to feel the beauty of nature. After some effort, they decided to choose the Marisa Resort in Chiang Dao as the place.
In addition, the trip also includes a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity at Baan Meung Na School. This is the school that students went to during the Grade 9 Overnight Field Trip. Students will participate in community service projects, allowing them to give back while strengthening their sense of responsibility and teamwork. This part of the trip reflects the school’s values of compassion and leadership beyond the classroom.
More than just a school trip, this overnight experience represents a chance for Grade 11 students to reconnect and move forward together. After a year without field trips, this journey allows students to rebuild unity as a grade level. It provides space to breathe in nature, strengthen friendships, and practice collaboration in real-life situations.
Ms. Meena stressed that “for this year, the Thai teachers planned this overnight trip because we want students to experience life outside of school. We want them to enjoy nature, understand different communities, and learn by doing real activities. That is why we included the CSR activity. Students will have the chance to communicate and exchange experiences with local Thai people.”
